I’m a character-driven storyteller working across animation and live-action mediums. I focus on emotionally driven stories about family, loss, identity, and belonging.

I’ve always been drawn to storytelling due to its ability to impact others and emotionally resonate far beyond a moment of entertainment. Everyone has a story to tell— and I’ve been fortunate to listen to many; like prison wardens, war veterans, heartbroken souls, and lost individuals alike. What stays with me isn’t just what happened to them, but the shared human need to be understood. We seek stories— often subconsciously— to feel seen. To laugh, cry, and leave a theater in awed silence is a magical thing. It’s something I strive to achieve in my written works.

My work is deeply influenced by themes of family and loss— shaped by my own lived experiences. I'm drawn to stories about family— not just the families we're born into, but the ones we build for ourselves. I write about identity so I can find my younger self in the crowd, smile, and call out: “You’re not alone!”. My work explores the difficult choices we make to be who we are today.

Animation has always whispered to me louder than live action. Its whimsy weaves through every character arc, every exaggerated truth, and bold expression without sacrificing any complexity.

Above all else, I write for catharsis. I write for those who feel unseen. Unheard. Alone. I write for the tears; I write for the laughter. I write for the human experience. Nothing can replace that. I believe everyone has a story worth listening to. My job isn’t to judge— it’s to understand their depth. I love to write stories about people trying to be a better version than the person they were yesterday utilizing carefully woven set-ups and payoffs to earn emotional pay-offs that’ll leave audiences breathless when the credits roll.
